Wide Open Agriculture (ASX: WOA) and (Frankfurt: 2WO) has been granted an export licence to formally engage with South -East Asian export markets with regenerative, grass fed beef and lamb product lines.
Regenerative food and farming business, Wide Open Agriculture Limited (2WO) has been granted an export licence.
This export licence permits the company to market and distribute meat into major export markets such as South-East Asia.
Meat exports into South-East Asia from Australia were valued at about 531 million euro in 2018.
Consumers in Asia are increasingly looking for premium high-quality food options. Regeneratively farmed beef and lamb is grass-fed. This contrasts to most meat production from intensive feed-lots.
The company has recently engaged with meetings and farm-visits with online and retail distributors situated in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
